When treating areas of skin for cosmetic reasons with Cosmeceutical creams, often a plateau in improvement is reached which no ammount of increased creams can improve on. One of the reasons for this is increased skin thickening and resistance to cream penetration to the active depths.

A novel way of overcoming this is to invasively disrupt the outer skin layers by micro-fine medical needles to allow the creams to reach their active depths while also stimulating collagen repair and formation.

We use 2 sizes of the EnvironRoll-Kit® multineedling apparatus at our practice:

a shallow apparatus for daily home use and a deeper clinical apparatus for surgery use every few months.

It is preferable to initiate treatment with the surgical treatment and then continue daily home treartments after recovery.

The clinical treatment requires careful patient preparation and diligent aftercare on which you will be provided complete and easy to follow instructions.

Please note that the downtime of this procedure is longer than for Botox®, Restylane® or chemical peel treatments.
