You should not receive sports massage if you have:

  • acute soft tissue inflammation
  • open wounds
  • bone and joint injuries
  • Deep Vein Thrombosis and varicose veins
  • Infectious skin disease
  • tumors
  • cancer
  • diabetes
  • diarhoea or vomiting
  • under influence of recreational drugs
  • any condition treated by a medical professional unless permission is given
  • uncontrolled blood pressure
